Public Meetings to Monitor Ecosystem Restoration Progress
Beginning October 2005, CERP Regional Project Delivery Team meetings will be held
in conjunction with the South Florida Ecosystem Restoration Task Force's Working
Group meetings. The Working Group meetings are the primary forum for agency interaction
and public participation in projects of the Comprehensive Everglades Restoration
Plan (CERP) and related ecosystem restoration efforts.
This change was announced by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and the South Florida
Water Management District to enhance agency and public participation and improve
efficiency for CERP projects. CERP project updates will be given around key milestones
at the Working Group meetings for discussion with stakeholders as key work products
are being developed for Project Implementation Reports or subsequent efforts.

rotating basis throughout the CERP region and agendas are published two weeks prior
to each meeting.
