Subscribe to the evergladesplan.org RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feed to get CERP information and new web posts delivered directly to your desktop!

Why use RSS?
Subscribing to feeds makes it possible to review a large amount of new online content "at a glance." You can keep track of new information on many of your favorite web sites without having to remember to check each site individually.

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) enables you to stay up-to-date on the latest website content by providing updates automatically through a "web feed."

RSS content can be read using software called an "RSS reader", "feed reader" or an "aggregator". The user subscribes to a feed by entering the feed's link into the reader or by clicking an RSS icon in a browser that supports RSS to initiate the subscription process. The reader checks the user's subscribed feeds regularly for new content, downloading any updates that it finds.

Please note that Internet Explorer (IE) 6.0 does not support RSS, so attempts to subscribe to RSS feeds through that browser will not be successful. Instead, you can install a news reader that displays RSS feeds from the web sites you select, enabling you to view hundreds of headlines at once.

An alternative to downloading a dedicated news reader is to use a Web-based news reader. For example, Google, My Yahoo!, and My AOL users can now add RSS feeds directly to their personal page.

How to subscribe to an RSS feed:

  1. Download and set up an RSS reader or set up an account with an online RSS reader.
  2. Click on the feed link (usually an orange icon with the text "RSS Feed" or "XML" in it).
  3. Copy the URL of the RSS file and paste the URL into your newsreader. For example, the URL to sign up for the CERP RSS web feed is: http://www.evergladesplan.org/rss.aspx.
  4. Copy the URL (in the address bar at the top of your screen) of the RSS file and paste the URL into your newsreader. For example, the URL to sign up for the CERP RSS web feed is: http://www.evergladesplan.org/rss.aspx.
